Overview

The Level 4 Diploma in Early Childhood Education is a regulated qualification at RQF Level 4 that builds advanced knowledge and competence for practitioners working in early years settings. Level 4 diploma qualifications represent practical knowledge, skills, capabilities, and competencies that are equivalent in academic terms to the first year of a three-year UK bachelor’s degree program.

This diploma is designed for individuals who wish to advance their role in early childhood education—such as becoming a lead practitioner, supervising staff, planning and developing early years provision, or furthering their academic and professional development in the early years sector.

Equivalences

Level 4 qualifications denote practical knowledge, skills, capacities, and competencies that are academically recognised as equivalent to the first year of a UK Bachelor’s Degree.

Learners are not required to be employed in an early year or childcare setting to undertake the Level 4 Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Duration

Level 4 Diploma in Early Childhood Education is available in 2 modes:
  • 03 Months (Fast Track)
  • 06 Months
Learners are granted a maximum of 18 months’ access to complete the course from the date of enrolment.

Progression
