NCFE CACHE Level 1 Diploma in Caring for Children provides students with the necessary knowledge and abilities to effectively provide care for young children. Learn about topics pertaining to the growth, learning, and development of a child.

It is recommended to familiarise oneself with the protocols pertaining to the protection of children and the identification of situations necessitating immediate intervention. Additionally, it is important to acquire knowledge on strategies for fostering children’s engagement in educational activities and enhancing their self-assurance.

This is a nested qualification, meaning students can choose to study either the award, certificate, or diploma. Once you have completed this diploma, you will have achieved the full nested qualification.

Progression

Upon successful completion of this nested qualification, learners have the option to pursue either the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce or the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People.

Assessment

The assessment of your course will be conducted via a sequence of assignments, which will be submitted to your tutor for marking. There is no requirement for external assessments.
