Overview

The Level 5 Extended Diploma of Health and Social Care Management is designed to provide learners with the exact knowledge, understanding, and skills needed for a career in health care. Also it further helps to understand things in health and social care at the management level. This Level 5 health care program allows learners to demonstrate their skills by providing evidence from their work and educational activities. Learners study Level 4 and 5 credits, equivalent to 120 credits per grade, with a total of 240 credits (equivalent to the first two years of an honors degree).

Progression

Successful completion of the Level 5 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care Management, provides learners the opportunity for a wide range of academic progressions including the Level 6 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management or Bsc Health care top up or within employment like Manager post in Health sector. As this Level 5 Health Care qualification is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), learners are also eligible to gain direct entry into Year 3 of a three- year UK Bachelor’s degree programme.
