NCFE CACHE Level 1 Certificate in Caring for Children provides students with the necessary knowledge and abilities to effectively provide care for young children. Learn about topics pertaining to the growth, learning, and development of a child.

It is aimed at a range of learners, including young people needing to develop life skills as well as those who are thinking of working in childcare.

This is a nested qualification, meaning students can choose to study either the award, certificate, or diploma. Once you have completed this diploma, you will have achieved the full nested qualification.

Progression

Upon successful completion of this nested qualification, learners have the option to pursue either the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People’s Workforce or the NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Introducing Caring for Children and Young People.

Assessment

The assessment of your course will be conducted via a sequence of assignments, which will be submitted to your tutor for marking. There is no requirement for external assessments.
